Substance Abuse Specialist

Job Summary

Providing quality customer service to clients seeking substance abuse treatment, the full-time Immediate Response Team Specialist will manage inbound calls, register new clients, and collaborate with treatment partners while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high standards of customer service while answering inbound calls and managing referrals
• Identify and register new clients, completing follow-up engagement calls and communicating with program directors
• Maintain strategic relationships with referral partners and support marketing initiatives to build census

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• At least 1 year of experience in the substance abuse and mental health field
• Knowledge of substance abuse and mental health diagnosis and treatment continuum
• Proficient in assessment and admission software/databases
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
