Job Summary

A company is looking for a Substation CAD Technician II.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical drafting support and create construction drawings/designs for substation projects
Collaborate with engineers to complete design and drafting tasks within the Substation department
Utilize AutoCAD and potentially MicroStation for project execution

Required Qualifications

Two-year technical degree or currently enrolled in Technical Drafting preferred
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a related field
Proficiency in AutoCAD is required; knowledge of MicroStation and 3D modeling is a plus
Experience with substation electrical protection and control or physical design is beneficial
Must have permanent authorization to work in the US
