Substation CAD Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Substation CAD Technician.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical drafting support for the Substation group of engineers
• Create construction drawings and designs under close supervision
• Complete tasks related to designing and drafting projects within the Substation department

Required Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or currently enrolled in Technical Drafting program preferred
• Knowledge of AutoCAD is required
• Familiarity with Microstation and Autodesk Revit software is a plus
• Experience with Microsoft Office Applications is necessary
• Knowledge in substation electrical protection and control or physical design is beneficial
