Substation Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Substation Designer.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare construction drawings, documents, calculations, and studies for medium and high voltage substation projects
• Ensure technical delivery of power delivery engineering projects or tasks
• Manage design records and files, complete as-built drawings, and create various permit drawings

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in the Substation Design/Power Delivery Field
• Experience with physical layouts, electrical elevations, and plans including foundation and grounding
• Ability to interpret and apply standards such as IEEE, IEC, and NESC
• Experience with power system calculations is a plus
• Knowledge of substation physical equipment is required
