Substation Designer

Job Summary

Substation Designer, a full-time position, provides technical drafting and design support for infrastructure projects by creating accurate 3D models with limited supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop plans for infrastructure projects using 3D modeling software
• Provide technical guidance to engineers and technicians
• Ensure adherence to company, client, and project standards and procedures

Required Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in Technical Drafting or equivalent
• 7 or more years of infrastructure-related experience
• Demonstrated experience with 3D software programs such as AutoCAD, Inventor, and Revit
• Detailed drafting experience with substation electrical equipment layout and related designs
• Permanent authorization to work in the US
