Substation Designer

Job Summary

Leading large-scale design projects remotely, the full-time Substation Physical Designer will ensure exceptional design quality and alignment with client objectives while managing multiple tasks and stakeholder interactions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design process on complex projects to meet client needs and quality standards
• Prepare and review design documentation, including detailed drawings and specifications
• Maintain project documentation and oversee scope and quality review processes

Required qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience designing power delivery systems with a strong portfolio of complex projects
• In-depth understanding of industry-standard design practices, codes, and regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD
• Exceptional organizational and project management skills
• Some college education in electrical engineering, design, or a related discipline is preferred
