Substation Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Substation Designer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create substation design drawing packages and required documents for electric power substations
• Use accepted practices and standards to complete design tasks
• Collaborate with other disciplines such as Substation, Protection & Controls, and Civil Structural

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma and 2-4 years of relevant experience
• Drafting and detailing experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
• Proficiency with Windows operating system environments
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, Outlook, etc
• Ability to perform tasks in a fast paced engineering/production environment
