Substation Drafter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Substation Drafter to create design drawings and drafting packages for electric power substations.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete drafting assignments for Protection & Control, SCADA, and Communications drawings
• Draft Physical Electrical drawings including General Arrangement and Electrical Plans
• Support remote office overflow CAD workload as needed

Required Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Technical Design Field or Drafting
• 3+ years of drafting and detailing experience for electric utility design projects
• Demonstrated proficiency with AutoCAD, including AutoCAD Electrical
• Experience with MicroStation V7/V8/V8i, including MicroStation Substation
• Knowledge of drafting principles, techniques, and procedures
