Substation Drafter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Substation Drafter to create drafting design packages for electric power substations.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete drafting assignments for Protection & Control, SCADA, Communications, and Physical Electrical drawings
• Utilize MicroStation and AutoCAD software to produce detailed drawings as required by project scope
• Support remote office CAD workload coordination with other CAD leads as needed

Required Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent
• Knowledge of drafting principles, techniques, and procedures
• Ability to create and modify drawings from engineer-provided markups
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Ability to comprehend and implement a wide range of client CAD standards
