Substation Drafter

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Substation Drafter, the candidate will be responsible for drafting substation design packages and documents using MicroStation and AutoCAD, while collaborating with design engineers and ensuring high-quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Complete drafting assignments for Protection & Control, SCADA, and Physical Electrical drawings according to project scope
• Utilize accepted practices and standards to ensure the quality and safety of all drafting documents
• Support remote office CAD workload as needed, coordinating with other CAD leads on the team

Required qualifications

• High school education or equivalent
• 0+ years of relevant drafting experience with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
• Knowledge of drafting principles, techniques, and procedures
• Ability to create and modify drawings from engineer-provided markups
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
