Substation Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Engineering Leader - Substation to lead a team responsible for renewable energy utility scale projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Substation Project Engineers overseeing engineering tasks from conception through construction and commissioning
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to secure substation sites and manage engineering deliverables
• Collaborate with other groups to ensure project success and represent internal and external interests in meetings

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• 6+ years of relevant experience
• 0+ years of supervisory or management experience
• Preferred: Certified Professional Engineer (PE)
• Preferred: Six Sigma certifications (Black Belt, Green Belt, Master Black Belt) and/or a Master's degree
