Substation Project Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Substation Physical Project Designer - Grid.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review substation drawings including general arrangements, equipment plans, and grounding plans
• Conduct field walkdowns, gather data, and interface with clients and contractors
• Provide technical guidance, mentor team members, and oversee the production of design deliverables

Required Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Drafting or equivalent technical experience
• 15 or more years of substation physical design experience
• Advanced knowledge of computer drafting tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation)
• Ability to visualize equipment details and clearances
• Capability to multi-task across various projects
