Substation Protection Designer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Substation P&C Designer.
Key Responsibilities
- Design substation protection and control drawing packages for electric power substations using AutoCAD Electrical
- Develop project lifecycle support from scoping to final design and implementation
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Safety Code and client standards during the design process
Required Qualifications
- Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical with SDS and have 2+ years of relevant design experience
- An associate degree in engineering technology or drafting technology is preferred, or a high school diploma with relevant experience
- Experience designing schemes utilizing SEL and GE protection and control relays
- Advanced comprehension of design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Word, and Excel
- Stable high-speed internet connection of at least 100Mbps
