Substation Protection Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Substation P&C Designer.

Key Responsibilities

• Design substation protection and control drawing packages for electric power substations using AutoCAD Electrical
• Develop project lifecycle support from scoping to final design and implementation
• Ensure compliance with National Electrical Safety Code and client standards during the design process

Required Qualifications

• Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical with SDS and have 2+ years of relevant design experience
• An associate degree in engineering technology or drafting technology is preferred, or a high school diploma with relevant experience
• Experience designing schemes utilizing SEL and GE protection and control relays
• Advanced comprehension of design software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Word, and Excel
• Stable high-speed internet connection of at least 100Mbps
