Substation Protection Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Substation Protection & Control Engineer for a remote position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop engineering deliverables for high voltage substation and transmission projects
• Provide technical support and participate in project planning and execution within a team environment
• Conduct field visits for site assessments and support business development initiatives

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Experience level varies from 0 to 5+ years based on the engineering level (Engineer I to Engineer IV)
• Professional Engineer registration or ability to obtain it is preferred
• Proficiency with relevant codes and standards such as NESC and IEEE
• Experience in substation design and current software applications for design work
