Substitute Safety Support Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Substitute Safety Support Specialist to assist in protecting students' mental health and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Take on available shifts to support the Beacon SSS team as needed
• Review and escalate Beacon alerts to school administrators for appropriate action
• Identify new issues and contribute to training and support resources

Required Qualifications

• Flexible availability for various shifts, including weekends and holidays
• 1+ year in a support role or customer-facing position, preferably in Trust & Safety or school-based roles
• Experience with Zendesk and handling support tickets
• High level of emotional intelligence and ability to manage sensitive situations
• College degree preferred; non-English language proficiency is a plus
