Job Summary

Providing flexible support, the Substitute Safety Support Specialist will manage incoming Beacon alerts, escalate issues to school officials, and assist with team-building projects in a part-time capacity, covering shifts as needed between 5am and 8pm PST.

Key responsibilities
  • Complement the Beacon SSS team by taking on available shifts when extra team members are needed
  • Review Beacon alerts and escalate via phone calls to school administrators for appropriate action
  • Identify and escalate new issues and trends, contributing to solution building and team projects
Required qualifications
  • 1+ year in a Support role or customer-facing position, preferably in Trust & Safety or school-based roles
  • 1+ year in a white glove customer service position
  • Experience working with Zendesk and handling support tickets and phone calls
  • High level of emotional intelligence and ability to handle sensitive information professionally
  • Available for onboarding during the first two weeks of employment, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM PT
