Suicide Prevention Expert

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Suicide Prevention and Postvention Subject Matter Expert.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expertise on evidence-based practices for suicide prevention and response efforts
• Support the design and development of lethal means safety training for military leaders and units
• Guide communication and messaging strategies related to prevention, postvention, and stigma reduction

Required Qualifications

• Master's or PhD degree in education, counseling, psychology, social work, or related field
• 10+ years of related experience, including 5 years in training program design and delivery
• Working knowledge of lethal means safety and postvention concepts
• Familiarity with Department of Defense policies related to suicide prevention
• Experience working within military communities and ability to obtain a Secret Clearance
