Suitability Analyst
Job Summary
Reviewing and documenting the suitability of annuity transactions, the full-time remote Suitability Analyst will adjudicate sales, transfers, and exchanges while collaborating with financial professionals and internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with suitability guidelines.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate new annuity transactions to ensure they meet suitability and best interest standards
- Analyze documentation from financial professionals to assess customer profiles and product appropriateness
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure timely processing of suitability reviews and maintain accurate records
Required qualifications
- 5-8 years of experience in suitability review, insurance operations, or related fields
- Strong understanding of insurance and retirement products, suitability requirements, and best interest standards
- Ability to independently assess risk and make sound, well-documented decisions
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Insurance, or a related field preferred
- Working knowledge of suitability regulations and experience in a regulated financial services environment
