Job Summary
Welcoming law students to apply, the full-time Summer Law Clerk will engage in case development and litigation strategy, including drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, and attending court proceedings, while working remotely or onsite in Houston, Texas, or New Orleans, Louisiana.
Key responsibilities
- Assist attorneys with case development and litigation strategy
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings and briefs
- Participate in seminars and workshops on environmental issues and job preparation
Required qualifications
- Enrollment in a U.S. law school through fall 2027
- Availability for a full-time commitment during the summer of 2027
- Interest in environmental law and public interest issues
- Submission of a legal writing sample and unofficial transcript
- Ability to work from the U.S. during the clerkship
