Supervising Producer

Job Summary

Managing a team of video editors and producers, the full-time salaried Supervising Producer will oversee the creation of news-driven videos aimed at influencing public opinion on economic and political issues in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and execute YouTube-first video content in collaboration with the Director of Video
• Manage the news team to meet publication deadlines and editorial standards
• Oversee all aspects of video production, including scripting, shooting, and editing processes

Required qualifications:

• At least 5 years of video journalism experience, particularly in producing and editing for YouTube
• Proven management experience in a video production environment
• Mastery of Adobe Premiere and strong media management skills
• A passion for economic justice and progressive political change
• Experience using social media analytics to inform content strategy
