Job Summary
Editing legal documents for accuracy and consistency, the part-time Supplement Editor will support local government clients by organizing and presenting municipal legislative material in a clear format for both online and print publication while working in a hybrid remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Edit legal documents for accuracy, consistency, and style
- Organize, plan, and prioritize multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
- Interpret legislative material and determine appropriate placement within a unified document
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
- 1 year of experience in proofreading or a similar role
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and familiar with web coding and authoring systems such as HTML/XML
- Strong writing, technical editing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
