Supplier Procurement Engineer

Job Summary

Overseeing procurement activities for heavy industrial components, the remote contract Supplier Procurement Engineer will manage budgets and schedules, ensure timely procurement awards, and collaborate with internal teams to align procurement with project goals.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate procurement of heavy industrial components and equipment for the Natrium project
• Manage budget and schedule to ensure timely procurement awards and cost evaluations
• Collaborate with engineering, project management, contracts, and legal teams to align procurement activities with project objectives

Required qualifications

• Technical degree in mechanical, electrical, chemical, nuclear, systems, or civil engineering preferred
• 10-20 years of experience in supplier oversight required
• PMP certification or equivalent training preferred
• 3-5 years of manufacturing oversight in fabrication or heavy industrial environments preferred
• Experience defining scope of work, developing SOWs, RFPs, and overseeing supplier projects
