Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Program Supplier Quality Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive continuous product/process improvements in the supply base through root cause corrective actions and statistical/analytical tools
• Ensure flow down of requirements to sub-tier suppliers and apply Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) processes
• Identify and mitigate risks in the supply base while developing supplier quality capabilities throughout the product lifecycle

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in Quality engineering or related engineering discipline
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math (STEM)
• Experience with aerospace or commercial preventative tools such as Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Lean Manufacturing
• Working experience in conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions
• Familiarity with aerospace/defense regulations and standards like ISO 9001 and AS9100
