Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Remote Medical Device Supplier Quality Engineer for a contract position, the successful candidate will manage supplier quality by reviewing APQP documentation, assessing risk and capability studies, and coaching suppliers on quality tools.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and assess APQP documents, including Process Flows, PFMEAs, and Control Plans
• Manage corrective actions related to APQP or validation process deficiencies
• Monitor supplier progress against pre-agreed objectives and coach suppliers on quality standards

Required qualifications:

• BS in Engineering or a Science/Technical field
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Product Quality or Supplier Quality
• Certified Six Sigma or Lean Green Belt
• Experience with SPPA or PPAP preferred
