Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Summary

To ensure high-quality product delivery from suppliers, the full-time remote Supplier Quality Engineer will evaluate supplier performance, conduct audits, and analyze defect data while collaborating with cross-functional teams in either Chicago, IL or Los Angeles, CA.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess supplier performance, implementing corrective and preventive action plans to resolve quality issues
• Conduct supplier audits and participate in Production Process Verifications (PPVs) and PPAP review processes
• Analyze supplier defect data to identify trends and drive preventative measures while fostering a Zero Defect culture

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree with 2-4+ years of relevant experience or 6-8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree
• Strong analytical skills and experience with 8D/RCCA activities
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including GD&T
• Experience in supplier development and a strategic mindset in quality management
