Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Supplier Quality Engineer II will negotiate, review, and approve Quality Agreements with suppliers, ensuring compliance with quality system requirements and operational responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure suppliers deliver quality parts, materials, and services while monitoring parts through the manufacturing cycle
• Qualify suppliers according to company standards and develop an auditing schedule to ensure compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMP)
• Provide technical guidance and quality compliance throughout the New Product Development (NPD) lifecycle, collaborating with cross-functional teams

Required qualifications

• Baccalaureate degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant quality experience or a Master's degree with no relevant experience
• Prior knowledge of ISO13485 standards
• Experience negotiating and finalizing Quality Agreements with external suppliers
• Strong knowledge of supplier quality requirements and applicable regulations
• Ability to interpret quality system requirements and translate them into contractual obligations
