Supplier Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Supporting complex medical technologies, the remote contract Supplier Quality Engineer II will conduct supplier inspections, manage corrective actions, and lead supplier qualification initiatives over a 10-26 week assignment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct inspections and surveys to ensure supplier compliance with requirements
• Review and approve new supplier candidates for inclusion on the approved list
• Manage supplier corrective actions and non-conforming material reports

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in supplier or manufacturing quality
• Experience with supplier audits, root cause analysis, SCARs, NCRs, and quality systems
• Knowledge of ISO standards, APQP, PPAP, SPC, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies
• Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
