Supplier Quality Engineer
Job Summary
Providing advanced quality assurance and inspection support, the full-time Supplier Quality Engineer will manage product verification, audit execution, and nonconformance resolution while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Review and approve data packages, shipping documentation, and quality records to ensure compliance with requirements
- Analyze quality trends and support corrective and preventive action activities to enhance product and process performance
- Develop inspection plans and provide technical guidance to inspection personnel regarding quality requirements
Required qualifications
- High school diploma, technical certification, Associate degree, or equivalent experience; bachelor's degree preferred
- Typically 4-6 years of quality assurance, inspection, manufacturing, or technical quality experience
- Proficiency in interpreting complex engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Experience conducting audits and supporting customer quality activities
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and industry standards such as AS 9100 or ISO 9001
