Supply Chain Buyer

Job Summary

Managing the procurement of products and materials, the full-time remote Supply Chain Buyer will ensure timely order placement, maintain inventory levels, and manage supplier relationships to support fulfillment operations.

Key responsibilities

• Place purchase orders for assigned product categories across divisions and regions
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers to ensure cost-effective purchasing
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with location leaders to prevent stockouts or overstocking

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
• 5 years of experience in purchasing, inventory control/management, or related fields
• Strong knowledge of the building material industry
• Proficient in procurement software and inventory management systems; expert MS Excel skills preferred
