Supply Chain Operations Associate

Job Summary

To support operations for the General Motors LLP Account, the full-time Supply Chain Operations Associate will manage material availability and inventory control while ensuring on-time delivery performance in a fast-paced environment based in Warren, MI.

Key responsibilities

• Track purchased parts to ensure timely shipment and delivery to meet production requirements
• Serve as the main point of contact for suppliers, making independent decisions on shipping schedules and containment plans
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate data in the MGO system, making necessary adjustments based on analysis

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• At least 1 year of administrative experience preferred
• Knowledge of MGO (GM's MRP system) at an intermediate level preferred
• Understanding of transportation management and material flow in manufacturing processes at an intermediate level preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
