Job Summary

A company is looking for a Support Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist care/case managers with non-clinical activities such as creating cases and events, telephonic outreach, handling member mailings, and faxing clinical requests
  • Handle calls from members and providers regarding benefit questions, appointments, authorizations, referrals, visits, tests, and care plans
  • Document accurate member information, manage caseload, and escalate calls as necessary

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience in a similar role or healthcare setting
  • Knowledge of benefit questions, appointments, authorizations, referrals, visits, tests, and care plans
  • Ability to document accurate member information and manage a caseload
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently
