Job Summary
A company is looking for a Support Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide world-class technical support via phone, email, and remote desktop connections while meeting SLA requirements
- Investigate, analyze, and resolve complex issues across various platforms and software systems
- Create and maintain comprehensive Knowledge Base documentation for internal and external use
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- 2+ years of experience in developing, implementing, or supporting technical solutions in Mainframe
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Customer-facing software support and/or consulting experience
- Technical experience with mainframe software and tools such as SMP/E, RACF, and JCL
- Familiarity with obtaining debug information from joblogs, syslogs, dumps, and traps
