Job Summary
Working remotely, the full-time Support Engineer will manage project support, testing, and evaluation of complex software systems for a government client while ensuring effective communication among team members and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Perform software and hardware installation, testing, and deployment, along with visual checks of system components
- Provide periodic and weekly status reports to users and managers, documenting solutions to identified problems
- Develop and implement quality assurance programs and action plans for resolving faults in software and hardware
Required qualifications
- 3+ years of network and application experience, particularly in federal government environments
- Industry certifications (e.g., Microsoft, VMware, Cisco) are a plus
- Experience with programming languages such as Oracle and Java, as well as SharePoint, preferred
- Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work with minimal supervision
- U.S. citizenship or work authorization is required
