Support Engineer for Data Integration
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Informatica/Java/Kafka Support Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 2 and 3 support for data and backend systems using Informatica, Java, and Kafka
- Troubleshoot and resolve ETL job failures, Kafka streaming issues, and Java-based application errors
- Monitor and maintain Kafka clusters, ensuring optimal performance and uptime
Required Qualifications:
- Strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter: ETL development, workflow debugging, and optimization
- Proficiency in Java, especially for backend application support and debugging
- Solid hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, including topic creation, performance tuning, and monitoring
- Good understanding of SQL and database optimization (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix commands and scripting using Shell or Python
