Job Summary
A company is looking for a Support Engineer II.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, support, and troubleshoot production schedules and workflows
- Triage routine issues and take corrective actions to maintain system availability
- Assist with troubleshooting remote file and data transmission issues
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 1-3 years of equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of Tape Storage Management (TSM) or similar backup software
- Working knowledge of automated mainframe or open systems scheduling tools, preferably IBM Tivoli
- Experience with multiple hardware and software environments, such as Windows, UNIX, MVS, IBM mainframe, and JES2
- Dependability and flexibility to work weekends and holidays in a 24/7 environment
