Job Summary

A company is looking for a Support Engineer II.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor, support, and troubleshoot production schedules and workflows
  • Triage routine issues and take corrective actions to maintain system availability
  • Assist with troubleshooting remote file and data transmission issues
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, or 1-3 years of equivalent work experience
  • Knowledge of Tape Storage Management (TSM) or similar backup software
  • Working knowledge of automated mainframe or open systems scheduling tools, preferably IBM Tivoli
  • Experience with multiple hardware and software environments, such as Windows, UNIX, MVS, IBM mainframe, and JES2
  • Dependability and flexibility to work weekends and holidays in a 24/7 environment
