Support Group Facilitator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Support Group Facilitator (Independent Contractor).

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate virtual group sessions for members to discuss identity-related experiences
• Develop agendas and discussion materials for support groups based on expertise and lived experience
• Provide feedback on group structures and participate in team meetings and training

Required Qualifications:

• Strong understanding and appreciation for the trans experience
• 2+ years of experience as a facilitator or peer support specialist
• 1+ years of experience facilitating virtual support groups or workshops
• Experience discussing sensitive issues facing the trans/nonbinary community
• Consistent availability on specific weekday evenings and weekends
