Job Summary

Support Specialist is a full-time position responsible for assisting primary care/case managers with non-clinical activities, including telephonic outreach to members and providers, handling member mailings, and managing authorizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct outreach to newly enrolled members regarding services and equipment
  • Handle and document calls related to member benefits, appointments, and service issues
  • Manage a large caseload while communicating member needs and monitoring screening effectively
Required Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience in a customer service environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Experience in effective verbal and written communication
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
