Job Summary
Support Specialist is a full-time position responsible for assisting primary care/case managers with non-clinical activities, including telephonic outreach to members and providers, handling member mailings, and managing authorizations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outreach to newly enrolled members regarding services and equipment
- Handle and document calls related to member benefits, appointments, and service issues
- Manage a large caseload while communicating member needs and monitoring screening effectively
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Experience in a customer service environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Experience in effective verbal and written communication
- Knowledge of medical terminology is preferred
