Job Summary

As a temporary Support Specialist, the part-time hourly position will assist educators, families, and schools using the TalkingPoints platform during the back-to-school season by troubleshooting complex issues, providing empathetic support, and maintaining high attention to detail in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities:
  • Serve as the first point of contact for complex partner issues across chat and email support channels, troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Investigate technical and operational issues, documenting findings for escalation to internal stakeholders
  • Support users with varying levels of technical proficiency, adapting communication styles to meet their needs
Required qualifications:
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
  • Detail-oriented with experience handling sensitive information accurately
  • Ability to recognize patterns and identify recurring issues in support conversations
  • Experience using customer support software or ticketing systems
  • Willingness to undergo a background check for working with student data
