Surgery Reimbursement Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Reimbursement Specialist - Surgery.

Key Responsibilities

• Reconcile surgical procedures and assign CPT and ICD-10 codes to surgery charges
• Resolve denied charges and verify appropriate attestations
• Conduct policy analysis for managed care issues and ensure timely completion of reimbursement projects

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 4 years of progressively responsible experience in medical insurance, medical billing, or medical reimbursement
• Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Advanced Records Technician (ART) preferred upon hire
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
