Job Summary

A company is looking for a Surgery Scheduler in Otolaryngology.

Key Responsibilities

• Schedule patient surgical procedures and acquire necessary information from surgeons
• Provide pre-certification for procedures and advise on insurance responsibilities
• Maintain surgical block time and coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 5 years of experience in a medical office environment
• Exposure to physician billing, medical collections, coding, and surgery scheduling
• Additional education may be considered in lieu of experience
• Preferred: 1 year of experience in surgery scheduling
