Surgery Scheduler

Job Summary

To support ambulatory services at the Sunset Hills location, the full-time Surgery Scheduler will manage patient scheduling for surgeries, coordinate with physicians and case management, and handle patient communications, working remotely with one required in-office day per month.

Key responsibilities

• Schedules patient procedures and manages notifications leading up to surgeries
• Coordinates insurance requirements and resources for surgical procedures
• Completes audits of scheduled procedures to ensure accuracy and provides training support to other schedulers

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• No prior experience required
• Preferred experience of 2-5 years in a scheduling or healthcare-related role
