Job Summary

A company is looking for a Surgery Scheduler.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and coordinate the daily surgery schedule with anesthesia, nursing, and physician preferences
• Review schedules with physicians to confirm requirements and notify departments of special needs
• Publish and distribute the next day's surgery schedule and perform additional assigned responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate's Degree in a health-related field preferred
• 3 years of experience in a healthcare environment required
• Experience in surgery scheduling, medical terminology, and data entry preferred
• Must reside in Texas
• Must pass pre-employment skills test as required by Human Resources
