Surgical Clinical Reviewer

Job Summary

Seeking experienced NSQIP-Adult Registry Abstractors, the full-time or part-time position will independently review clinical documentation, apply registry specifications, and ensure accurate data abstraction for surgical registries in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Reviews patient medical records and abstracts data for the NSQIP-Adult Registry
• Applies registry specifications and guidelines accurately while maintaining high abstraction accuracy
• Participates in quality assurance activities and communicates with team members and clients for clarification

Required qualifications

• Current Surgical Clinical Reviewer certification required
• At least 2 years of recent NSQIP-Adult Registry abstraction experience
• Strong understanding of healthcare quality reporting and clinical documentation review
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines
• Comfort working in multiple EHRs and data collection systems
