Surgical Supply Operations Analyst

Job Summary

To enhance operational efficiency, the full-time Surgical Supply Operations Analyst will manage billing audits, ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize procurement and equipment returns in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough audits of operating room charges and verify billing codes, handling an average of 130-180 postings per day
• Analyze audit findings to identify trends and compile operational data for comprehensive reporting to management
• Manage repair orders and procurement processes for medical equipment, ensuring timely resolution and compliance with guidelines

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred
• 2 years of experience in healthcare billing, medical coding, and compliance with a Bachelor's degree; 3 years with an Associate's degree; or 6 years with a high school diploma/GED
• Experience in data analysis and reporting
• Proficiency in equipment repair and procurement within a healthcare setting, preferably in an operating room environment
• Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, coding, and billing guidelines
