Job Summary
Ensuring accuracy and compliance in surgical supply operations, the full-time Surgical Supply Operations Analyst will conduct audits, manage procurement, and collaborate with stakeholders to enhance revenue integrity within the healthcare facility's operating rooms, working in a hybrid schedule with both remote and on-site responsibilities.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct thorough audits of operating room charges, verifying billing codes and documentation, and handling an average of 130-180 postings per day
- Ensure compliance with coding and billing guidelines while providing guidance to mitigate compliance risks and reviewing key operational parameters
- Analyze audit findings to identify trends, compile operational data, and prepare comprehensive reports to optimize revenue capture
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered
- 2 years of experience in healthcare billing, medical coding, and compliance if holding a Bachelor's degree; 3 years with an Associate's degree; or 6 years with a high school diploma/GED
- Experience in data analysis and reporting
- Experience in equipment repair and procurement within a healthcare setting, preferably in an operating room environment
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, coding, and billing guidelines
