Surgical Technology Program Director

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced and visionary Surgical Technology Program Director, this full-time, 12-month academic position will lead, develop, and sustain a high-quality, accredited Associate of Science degree program, focusing on academic leadership, faculty supervision, and student success while ensuring compliance with accreditation standards.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and oversight of the Surgical Technology Program, ensuring compliance with accreditation standards
• Design, implement, and evaluate curriculum aligned with industry needs and accreditation requirements
• Recruit, mentor, and evaluate program faculty while fostering a collaborative and inclusive teaching environment

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Surgical Technology, Health Sciences, or a related field
• Current certification as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA or equivalent
• Minimum of 3-5 years of recent clinical experience in surgical technology
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching or instructional experience in an accredited surgical technology program
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
