Surplus Lines Analyst

Job Summary

To support the timely processing of surplus lines filings, the temporary remote Surplus Lines Analyst will manage submissions, tax returns, and payments for assigned states while collaborating with account teams and maintaining accurate records until April 2027.

Key responsibilities:

• Timely and accurately submit surplus lines filings and process tax returns for assigned states
• Coordinate payment of surplus lines taxes and resolve discrepancies with stamping offices and state agencies
• Maintain accurate records and assist in educating account teams on surplus lines regulations

Required qualifications:

• Experience in surplus lines or property & casualty insurance preferred
• Accounting experience is helpful
• Ability to read and interpret surplus lines regulations
• Familiarity with InsCipher for filings and reports
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
