Job Summary
Providing front-line customer service support, the full-time Surplus Lines Customer Experience Associate will manage client communications, process surplus lines tax reports, and ensure compliance with regulations, all while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Manage client communications by responding to inquiries, billing questions, and payment confirmations professionally and timely
- Prepare, process, and distribute surplus lines tax reports and payments while coordinating with state regulators for compliance
- Train and mentor team members on workflows and processes, serving as an escalation point for client and operational issues
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of surplus lines tax filing experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel skills
- Strong customer service orientation with a passion for problem-solving
- Collaborative team player with a focus on accuracy and thorough documentation
