Survey Technician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Survey Technician to support surveying and mapping activities for utility and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist survey crews in performing topographic, boundary, route, and construction surveys
• Collect, record, and verify field measurements and geographic data for project planning and design
• Support the preparation of survey maps, field notes, sketches, and reports using CAD or survey software

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree in Surveying, Geomatics, or related field preferred
• 3 years of experience in land surveying or utility surveying
• Familiarity with surveying equipment such as Trimble, Leica, or Topcon systems
• Basic knowledge of surveying principles, measurements, and field procedures
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
