Sustainability Product Manager
Job Summary
Focused on transforming utility and building energy data into sustainable outcomes, the full-time remote Sustainability Product Manager will manage product paths related to benchmarking, performance standards, and green energy reporting while collaborating with Utility Operations and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate deep sustainability and ESG literacy, explaining Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 concepts and calculations
- Own product management tasks including discovery, prioritization, and release readiness in the B2B proptech or utilitytech sectors
- Utilize multifamily or commercial real estate utility domain knowledge to enhance utility billing and energy data workflows
Required Qualifications:
- Strong working knowledge of GHG Protocol-style Scope 1, Scope 2, and Scope 3 concepts
- Direct experience with multifamily or commercial real estate operations
- Experience in GRESB or SASB reporting and document creation
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years in product management or 5+ years in sustainability/energy consulting
- Familiarity with utility billing, submetering, and local benchmarking ordinances
